Ruff House had a great time at the CanAm. Our regular team finished in 1st place on Saturday - don't know how we did that. The schedule was CRAZY. Our two teams did all their races in about 3 hours. We came out of one ring and we were in the hole for the next race and sometimes the same team went in again. Sunday, the open team did 3 of their races in one hour. The dogs did amazingly well, handlers were ... exhausted. I must have really looked bad because one judge told me slow down, we will wait. We would like to thank everyone who helped this weekend. FBI, Surf City, BC Boomerangs and North Alabama Box Rockers. Hope I didn't miss anyone. We couldn't have pulled it off without you. Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
A bit warm and some rain but still a fun weekend at the Dog Gone Devils tournament in Amana, IA June 15, 16 & 17. Team HEATWAVE had a great weekend. Blade, Henley, Radar and Rossie are one heck of a team. Friday evening, however, there was one race that stood out above the rest. Elliott ran the first race of the second heat and achieved his Iron Dog status !! The potluck dinner and all the desserts Saturday night was a nice way to end the racing day.
Ruff House sends a big thank you to Canine Dirt Diggers and E-Z Goin for a great tournament this past weekend, May 11, 12 & 13 in Menominee, WI. Thanks to all from region 3 and 4 for all your help with our team, boxloading, running dogs, shagging, holding dogs and for all your support. Ruff House got 2nd place all 3 days and a lot points. Our new dog Pippin got his FD and FDX titles, Way To Go Pippin and Lisa. And Lisa's Titus ran his first tournament in over a year and did great! Blade got his 70,000 title. Weather was great too. Very nice venue.
A fun weekend back in Nashville, TN on May 5 & 6 for the Music City Road Dogs tournament. It was great to have Piper Man run on our team again. Congratulations to Gloria & Radar getting his FMCh (15,00 pts) and Wendy & Happy Jack on his FDCh-G (2,500 pts). It was with mixed emotions that Tanya decided to retire Peaches from flyball - it was a difficult decision for her to make. Peaches always loved to play the game, had many years of great racing and put smiles on the faces of many people watching her run. Peaches hasn't given up her love of her little tennis balls but will now enjoy chasing them in the park. Happy retirement Miss Peaches Wiener.
Despite the bad weather driving to Iowa on Friday we had a great time at the Disorderly Conduct tournament in Davenport. A big congratulations to Rossie, and Wendy of course, on getting his ONYX on Sunday. We would also like to welcome Trisha & Otis to our team. Hubby Paul was much appreciated ball shagging for us. Thanks to Paw Position for running with and boxloading for our open team.

The weather gods were nice to us too...it was a little chilly in the morning but warmed up later in the day. Our team ran well. Thanks Canine Express.
The Ruff House team traveled to Indianapolis, IN for the CanAm Classic on Oct 7, 8 & 9. It's the largest flyball tournament where teams from all over the U.S. and Canada come to compete. Team TUFF STUFF ran great and came home with several titles. Congratulations to Henley on getting his FGDCh, Radar on getting his FMX and Happy Jack making his debut on the Ruff House team and getting his FD & FDX titles. We had beautiful weather all 3 days. Thanks to all those that make this tournament happen !! It takes a lot of organization & people to have 4 lanes running on Friday and 6 lanes running on Saturday & Sunday. We had a lot of fun.

Despite the storm that rolled thru Friday night we had a great Labor Day weekend at the High Fives tournament in Jefferson, WI. "Henley's Ruff Runners" ran well with Blade getting his 60,000K title on Saturday. Wow....Radar ran 4.4 - his fastest time yet. The dogs ran great all weekend...helped by the beautiful cool day on Sunday. Thanks High Fives for putting together the potluck dinner and to all who brought food for the table.
